Application Procedure
Should you decide to take part, then please fill in the application form, which you can find enclosed to our MBA brochure. Below you can apply also online. If you do not have this brochure, please get in contact with us.
A neccessary condition to enroll in our MBA course is, that you can prove a minimum of 180 ECTS points, which you have achieved by previous university degrees. Before starting your master thesis you need to acquire at least 285 ECTS points with study achievements and profound professional experience (30 up to a maximum of 45 ECTS credits).
Explanation: According to the European ECTS system you must achieve in total 300 credits─including your master thesis - in order to be awarded the MBA-degree. These necessary credits you can acquire in different ways:
Example 1: 210 credits with a university degree (diploma or master─7 semester regular study duration), plus 30 credits by profound professional experience, plus 60 credits with the MBA-program, are in total 300 credits.
Example 2: 180 credits with a bachelor degree (6 semesters regular study duration), plus 45 credits with profound professional experiences, plus 15 credits with profound national or international courses and exams, are in total 300 credits as well.
Please submit your application as early as possible.
For your application we need:
- your curriculum vitae,
- a letter of motivation,
- a copy of all your university or polytechnic degrees,
- a proof resp. record of your profound professional experience,
- the results of your GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test)–the scores can be handed in later upon request
- and the results of an English test (TOEFL–Test of English as a Foreign Language).
Upon request, the scores can be handed in later. Preparatory courses are offered by the Business School OWL.
The GMAT consists of the following parts:
- analytical writing assessment (two sections of 30 minutes each)
- a quantitative math section (75 minutes)
- a verbal section (75 minutes–in Germany the GMAT can be taken at any of the test centers, e. g. in Frankfurt on the Main, Dusseldorf, Muniche, Hamburg or Berlin.)

- reading section
- listening section
- speaking section
- writing section
