MBA Program
More than ever before, companies and people are integrated in global business contexts. Therefore, we need a new understanding of leadership, as well as the ability to cooperate, to work in cross-cultural teams and to take decisions in complex situations. Are you faced with the challenge of taking leadership responsibility?
With the MBA program of the Business School OWL we will prepare you for tasks on top management level. You ask, how?
"General Management and Leadership" combined with an understanding of global and local relationships is a "conditio sine qua non" for companies today. More than ever in our global economic world, prospective leaders have responsibilities which go beyond the boundaries of function, organizations and culture. Their profile has changed from area-bound competence to generic innovative capability, networking competence and goal-oriented coordination. What counts, is to think anew what is possible and to show new pathes into the future.
We go for team teaching. A lecturer from the unversity context and a lecturer from the business context give their lecture together. This is how we create an ideal link between theory and practice - to your benefit. You will work in small teams, in a plenum and on your own on challenging questions and case studies.
In the course of two years you acquire business skills in "General Management and Leadership": We offer 18 seminars (three days each) - from which you choose 16. The lectures take place on Friday and Saturday. Therefore, in these years you should reserve approximately 23 weekends (plus the exam weekend) for your MBA. You will need about the same time for preparation and follow-up course work.
